Once again, up and at 'em, bright and early.  Dunno where all this get-up-n-go stuff comes from; it's sure not like me!!  Step outside for a walk with puppy and about had a heart attack!  The sides and front of both truck and camper are covered with furry things!  THOUSANDS OF 'EM!!  Closer inspection reveals they are some sort of grey, winged insect, with a tail.  WEIRD.  And there are THOUSANDS of 'em!  Lined up side by side and row by row.  On EVERYone's campers!!  But, they're only on the sides facing the road.  Wonder where they came from and where they go during the day.  THOUSANDS of 'em.  Creepy.

 

After a quick breakfast of nothing (who likes overripe bananas, anyway!), we are ready to pull in the sides and hit the road again.  We get all the way up to Charlotte without any major incidents, just some dummies.  I mean, do they have ANY idea what it would take to stop us???  Do they think we left that "safe travelling distance" there just for them???  If they only knew.  They'd be flatter than a melted Hershey's kiss if we had to stop, fer sure.  Anyway, as we're passing through, I thought about work for the first time since we'd set out.  Hello everyone!!!  Sure hope everything is going smoothly and you haven't found anything I might have forgotten.  Corinne, I trust you and Amy have all the boys and apps under control; if not, I guess you have your work cut out for ya!!  (Git 'em, tigers!!)

Back at the farm (quite literally), THANK YOU, Carla and Roger, for letting us camp in your driveway again.  Sure makes getting a root canal easier!  Seeing y'all and dinner together was lots of fun, and we really, really enjoyed the blueberry cakes and muffins.  Glad we could introduce you to a GOOD key lime pie, too. 

 

Anyway, one little pill down, one to go.  They do work fast.  Can't wait till it's over!
