Does it get any better than this?
Now, this is the life....
We woke to 71 degrees, partly sunny, with a slight breeze. Yeah, our first task was to clean the potties and showers, but they weren't bad at all - you can tell the snowbirds are still here. Last weekend, we had lots of locals in, and you could tell they'd taken back "their" campground. Litter throughout the park and supplies in the bathouses were almost exhausted. Not to mention, counters, showers & potties all dirtied & scummy. Snowbirds, on the other hand, realize how blessed we are and (maybe because they're older?) really appreciate the facilities and beauy of this park, so they take better care of things.
So, anyway, here we are warm and sunny, and I see by my Google page, poor ole Branson is only up to 25 degrees (11:48 am) MAN, I'm glad we were able to leave when we did. We're both thankful for the experiences; they were marvelous, we made some lifelong & dear friends, and we got a good foundation to take elsewhere. If the opportunity presents, we'll go back, but not in the winter!!!
so long for now! Keep those cards and letters (and jokes, thank you Debbra!!!) a-comin'!

Hi Karin. Figured it is about time to leave a note instead of just reading your posting. From I have been reading, you are doing fine on your retirement. AS for me, My family and I are doing fine. We bought a house and have been living in it since January. Also I was moved to the Linden Center with a new phone number in January. So there was a few changes in my life in January but everything is working out well so far. We have started our training for Outlook\Exchange as Lotus Notes should be gone in about 3 years (management prediction not mine). Enough about work. I am waiting for my time to retire (5 years) so I can start enjoying the good life like you... TTYL Darrell
