Remember a couple of weeks ago, when we got hit by a rock thrown by a logging truck in Charlottesville?  Dick ducked when he saw it coming, yet managed to keep us on the road & between the ditches.  However, the windshield did suffer one of those holes with spider webs, and the Texas heat just made it worse & worse.  Well, we called & found we were covered (of course, there's a hefty deductible) and they contacted a company to come out & fix it right here, onsite.  Sweet!

Well, they were scheduled for YESTERDAY, but when the went to pick up the new glass, it was damaged, so they called & rescheduled for today.  After watching a truck run by, turn around & run by us again, we called & found dispatcher was anticipating arrival between 2 & 3 pm.  Right at 2:30, up pulls a van!!  With our new glass in it!!

They made quick work of removal & replacement, and here are the pics to prove it:
